Know the home, know the fault

Chudleigh is an ancient wool town situated in the Teign Valley close to the edge of Dartmoor. Following a massive fire in 1807 that destroyed around 180 of the 300 houses, much of the older housing stock had to be rebuilt. Today, kitchens across the area range from those in historic rebuilt cottages to modern homes near Haldon Forest.
